Barberton Municipal Court pulls off a Successful Cereal Bowl Drive

Barberton Municipal Courts Judge Fish and Judge McKenney challenged Stow Courts to a Cereal Bowl. All the cereal collected was delivered to the Battered Women’s Shelter of Summit and Medina Counties.

It took volunteers from the Courts, Police Department, Say Nope to Dope and citizens to load a truck that was donated by Jubilee Donuts. The truck was packed full of cereal to be delivered to the Batter Women’s Shelter.

The winner of the contest was unclear as Stow and Barberton called it a tie without counting the collections and sighted vague rules as the reason. Judge Fish said that the drive exceeded all expectations and they are looking forward to next year.

Author Note: If you counted the cereal pound for pound, I would say Barberton won.
